If you are smoking you may be turning your house into a dangerous home for your children and everybody else around you. Secondhand smoke, also known as environmental tobacco smoke is produced by someone who smokes but is unfortunately breathed in by those around the smoker. It has been already proven by multiple studies, and confirmed by the department of health that secondhand smoke may lead to lung cancer. There are certain things that can be done to reduce the dangers of smoking for you and those around you. One such thing of course is to quit. There are plenty of resources, tools and medications that can assist you in doing that. Another thoughtful thing to do would be to not smoke in your car as it is a tightly confined environment and most of the dangerous smoke that you exhale ends up in your lungs and the lungs of those around you. You should always remember to smoke away from children, to prevent them from the harm of cigarette exposure.
